This is becoming one of my favorite brands. It still doesn't rival Bolivar as my favorite, but it is up there as my 2nd or 3rd favorite brand. I really enjoy the #1 and #2. I have only smoked one PC and really enjoyed that. The Juan Lopez line seems like a "sleeper" to some degree (unless others don't care for the cigars).

It is a very refined brand, IMHO, and when aged for 5-10 years are very, very enjoyable. :thumbsu:

Great line,,,,I don't know about 10 years,.....5 years is certainly abple time for the 1's or the 2's.

The 2's...IMHO the last 5 years have been the best robusto to come out of Havana including the Cohiba Robusto.

No...the JL 1 and 2 are not at peak until 7-9 years...at 5 years, theyt are smokeable by neophytes, but certainly nowhere near peak. :P

With 2-3 years, yes...however, the CoRo has the potential to kick the JL's ass with 10-15 years of age....if you can wait that long.

The #2 used to be my goto smoke. I somehow lost my taste for them. Was going through that fuller bodied phase. :gym: :phew:

Probaly last time I bought any was '06. All these reviews moved me to buy a box to try. Gonna be '09s so I am very interested to try them.

I was gifted a #1 at HAHA this summer, and found it to be a very good cigar. I'll be picking up a box or two in the coming months.

I'm going to have to look for the Coronas as I like that size as well.

Agreed, the #1 & #2 are both very nice cigars wen aged out properly. The Patricia... not so much. Always reminded me of smoking a cigarette, even with considerable age on them.
