I smoke an Opus X Maduro Lancero every year on Jackson's birthday... the plan is to smoke one every year until he turns 18, and then smoke the last two with him.

These firmly remain one of the best cigars I've ever smoked... truly unique flavor, and my favorite vitola. Good times.

Damn, that means you have 20 of them?! LOL

Seriously though, they are delicious cigars. I have 1 left, hard to decide if I'll smoke it or the RDC maduro in vegas in January. Im sure when you smoke it with him in 18 years it will be aged to perfection!

Congrats on the plan for and with your son Andrew!
And I will always be in your debt for the lancero you shared with me a few years back, one of the very best cigars I have
smoked in almost 40 years of cigars.

What a plan. What memories you can reflect on when you finih the box with your son. I've never even seen one. I bet it looks odd to think about it. What a great dad.

is true.

Agree, these cigars are really tasty suckers. Spicy, body, flavor, aroma, there nearly perfect.

Mine wasn't entirely maduro so I can't tell...it had some weird other wrapper alternating with it.
What else is on your mind besides 100 proof women, 90 proof whiskey and 14K gold?

Wow, very cool and what a way to celbrate your sons birth with a cigar :goodjob: . I have heard about how rare these are but never how enjoyable! One of the guys down at the shop I frequent is a big Opus X fan and was telling me about there being a difference in wrapper through the years for this maduro, just curious are these the one with the wrapper grown at the Chateau?

So when he turns 18 he will get one of the twenty? If really likes them he will think you are a DICK for only getting one of the twenty unless, like most teens, he already thinks that by 13 :D
