Sold only with the 2001 Prometheus Ashton humidors, 100 cigars per humidor, 200 humidors ever made, the price of these cigars includes the "humidor tax," since in order to purchase the cigars, you have to purchase the humidor as well. These are Ashton VSGs with Opus X rosado wrappers.
The VSG ERs are astoundingly good cigars, which manage to take the best qualities of the Ashton VSGs and Opus X cigars, merging them together to create something entirely new.
ER stands for "Estate Reserve". These are different from the Ashton ESG (Estate Sun Grown) cigars released in mid 2006. The wrapper on the ESGs is a sun grown variant of the Opus X rosado wrapper (the same wrapper used on the Platinum Edition DVD cigars and Cigar in the Bottle cigars, though a different priming).
