A 2002 LCGMDO#1 in about 20 minutes, thanks to a dear friend here!

After dinner tonight a friend is graciously sharing his Davidoff Chateau Mouton Rothschild
stash with a couple of his friends and I, can't wait for that one.

OpusX RdC. With winter setting in, I've cut back my cigar consumption and frankly, this one about kicked my ass. Great flavor, but I have to go get something to eat as soon as I was done.

They were all great. I made sure to choose cigars I had smoked previously that I knew would be stellar. The only one I hadn't tried before was the Upmann and I was unimpressed. The No. 2 is my least favorite Upmann and this one was not much better than the regular version. Don't listen to me though. I don't like Torpedos in general and this cigar was surely not ready.

I was at the B&M today, watching the games. Started with a Cabaiguan Belicosa from the shop's humidor, followed by an '01 SLR DC. One of the regulars brought a bottle of Oban and the Falcons pulled out a win. Overall, a good day.

Joe.
a few ++ for u for starting such a nice thread <_<.

Yesterday I smoke a Casa Magna while trying to catch some fish, nice little smoke for the buck,the burn and construction were far superior than the taste.
Today I smoke an Oliva "V" damn thing was too strong(bitter ,with young tobacco taste) it about made me throw up,I threw it away an inch into it, :angry:.

Right now I am puffing on a Dona Flor Selecao Robusto Size, nice little cigar,lots of flavor and not too strong,there is something unique about those Brazilians(cigars and women <_<) that's for sure.

Getting ready to head out to work. Just fired up a Boli PC for the drive and filling the thermal mug with hot black coffee and a shot of Jack. Damn snowy and cold out and so hard to get moving.

Of note during the past week was a 2001 normal cammy hemi signature paired with a couple steaming cups of some Kona blend. IMO these do age very nicely.

A very pleasant recent surprise was my first Cabiguan. I don't know the names on these but it was a short or petite corona format. I was really impressed with the flavors of this one.

Had an OR 858 SG with my quad espresso this morning. I have not had one in a while and it was just as I remembered. I used to burn thru a box of 858SG and month for almost 5 years and then I just got tired of them. I doubt I will ever smoke more than a couple of these every few months from now on but it is still one of my all time favorites...
