What It Is
"Secret Santa" is a way to spread a little holiday cheer. Everyone who participates will get a secret santa "kid" (randomly picked by me); you will know who your "kid" is, but he will not know who you are.
You then put together a nice Christmas present for them, and mail it to them anonymously... the present can include cigars, booze, or something else entirely that you think your "kid" will enjoy.
The "santa" Account
Since part of the fun of the Secret Santa is finding out what your "kid" might like, and taunting them a bit prior to them receiving your gift, I've set up a "santa" account that you can use to anonymously post from.

Secret Santa Deadlines
To keep things running smoothly for everyone, there are some deadlines for signing up to participate, and a deadline by which you're expected to have sent your gift to your "kid". Both event deadlines are listed on the Community Calendar:
Sign-up Deadline: Friday, November 20th (11/20/2009) -- You need to have signed up and given me your address by this date, or you won't be a part of the Secret Santa 2009
Gift Sent By Deadline: Friday, December 11th (12/11/2009) -- You need to have sent your gift to your Secret Santa kid by this date, or you will burn in hell for all eternity.
How to Join In
Awesome, we're glad to have you! If you want to participate, you can post "I'm in!" on this thread over here, and then PM me your address; please make my life easy by making the subject of the PM: Secret Santa address

I will PM you the name and address of your Secret Santa "kid" shortly after the 11/20/2009 sign-up deadline.
Some Tips/Hints
Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate. It's not how much you give, but rather that you're in the holiday spirit of giving! Try to find something that your "kid" might like, that's more important than how much money you've spent! Still, to keep things on parity, we're expecting your package be worth at least $50.
Use the "santa" account to ask him for some hints on what he might like, or ask around behind the scenes by PMing some people who know him. Just don't give away to your "kid" the fact that you're his Santa!
