What a POS, I go from full bars & 3G to dropping to 2 bars and the Edge network to No Service all in a couple minutes sitting in Famous Daves tonight. Couple minutes later back at full bars 3G. And this isn't in some bumfuck area.
Seen this occur numerous times since upgrading my 3GS last week. Consumer Reports is wrong that there are no issues on the older phones plain and simple. So I'm sure I'd really be pissed with the new phone.
Looks like it may be android time and a new carrier if they don't fix this shit ASAP.

Verizon is your friend. I've heard the pros and cons of the CrApple phone. I have decided to go with the Droid X which has gotten great reviews. Although the iPhone does have more apps currently, Google is moving forward with tons of apps.
I have a friend who is a computer geek and he loves his Droid X. My wife has the regular Droid and loves it too...
With the recent problems with CrApple, offering a condom to use on your phone, just won't work for me.
