Almost correct:

Specter said. "We have a real problem with the Chinese. They are very shrewd and customarily they outmaneuver us. They take our jobs. They take our money and then they lend it back to us and own a big part of America. So let's watch exactly ... what's happening."

We don't have "a real problem with the Chinese" ... our real problem is that we are our own worst enemies. America's best and brightest are not our leaders and the ruling dolts are trying to play the game against the best & brightest of China. (If you doubt this, click here) Just as a function of percentages, China has at least 4 times the geniuses as the USA. It has been that way *at least since* the Carter administration's effort to engage China's scientific community diplomatically; an engagement I witnessed first hand. The USA did not perform well during that mission even though our technology wowed the Chinese scientists. ...so this is not a slam of the Obama administration, the USA has been under-estimating China for a very long time.

FYI - Educational accomplishment is a key element to success in the CCP. Hell, the children begin competing for placement in quality schools in the Chinese equivalent of kindergarten. ...and our children???

First thing I have read you write about China that made any damn sense.

American society has developed some fatal structural flaws. And we do the stupidest things . . . enticing tens of millions of poor, illiterate, technologically-backward Mexicans to move here with loads of free benefits for their anchor babies, while making it harder and harder for the best and brightest scientists and engineers from India, Pakistan, China, etc., to get work visas.

As a result, the USA is in a long, slow, inexorable, decline.
Unless Ye Repent Ye Shall All Likewise Perish!

I disagree. It may be a long road to the precipice, but we're speeding down that road at break-neck speed. The only question is: How many miles are left to go?
