I suppose that falls under the category of 'Gee, what else is new'? Politics is now and has always been a dirty business. Two things that you never want to see made are sausage and law. What was the number of recess appointments that George W had in his first six years? Something like 167. Both parties are full of crooks on the take...the only questions is which set of crooks you align yourself with.

Stu has made an excellent point. The question you need to ask yourself Griz, is why are news organizations reporting it?
The mainstream media wants the focus off the Health Care debate and the women majority tea parties to something less problematic for their socialist agenda. The more you talk about it, the more they win.

Well Bush the younger made a BUNCH of re-SEE-Esssss appointments, but that's really irrelevant to my intent. It is the appointment of unionista attorney, Craig Becker, that raises my ire. I will collect retirement from the AFC-CIO, in itself that should explain why I hate unions.

I would be interested in knowing how many threads I started about Bush's recess appointments, because I certainly do not recall. ...but perhaps your insight will see one thing while my intent was another.
