Hey guys. Just a noob question here about scotch. Living in MS the liqour stores are state run, and therefore the varitey of single malts is not good. We can get whisky mailed to us though, and I have started to look into various monthly mailing clubs. Have any of you guys ever tried these? Are they worth trying?
Any help is appreciated in advance,

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society has some good bottlings, but I think they're marketed to collectors who are looking for rare or unusual items. If you can order liquor by mail, why not just order what you want from stores in the U.S. (hi times wine, Beltramos, K&L, Binny's) or even from England (good deals if you buy a mixed case)?
