My vote goes to the Trinidad Robusto T.
I initially thought this cigar was overpriced for a robusto (and it might be).
But it is a fantastic sweet/creamy smoke. Like candy.

I don't think that I smoked anything from '09. They are all still tucked away in the back of the humidor.

Nice description, makes me want to try one out. As for me, HDM Epicure Especial which was good.

Yeah, I don't get how they can rate Cubans that young. It's like saying "oh, what a cute baby" when looking at an ultrasound.

I don't see anything in AnacostiaKat post that says anything about "rating" '09 Cubans. Just a simple statement about what '09 cigar do you you like.
And yes it's possible to rate any cigan, Cuban or not. Just put a flame to the foot of the cigar you choose to smoke, puff away and at the end you can simply rate it with a simple, yes I enjoyed what I smoked or a No, I didn't care for it.

The only '09 CC I smoked this year was a Partagas PCE and it was gooda.

Can only say for cigars that were acquired in 2009 and 2008 ERDM Grandes De Espana was the finest example

I got a box of Bolivar Royal Corona's from February '09 that were da' BOMB!

Best cigar I smoked in 2009 was a 2001 Punch SS2...sorry, I didn't smoke anything younger...

Those 01 SS2's are mighty nice. And I'm an expert in rating cigans.
I did try one from 09 out of 2 boxes recently acquired, just to get a glimpse.
