Need suggestions for the $3-5 range (smoke twice a day 20-30 minutes) and something durable enough to smoke outside. I prefer full bodied this time of year since when I am outside as the lighter stuff does not provide much flavor in my opinion.

If you're looking for a great short smoke under $5 - my recommendation would be a Short Story.

How are those "Nub" cigars? I haven't had one yet, but they certainly would fit the bill as the right size and price range, I think.

I love Short Stories, but I think their Camaroon wrappers are pretty sensistive to cold weather. I'd go for a Fuente 858 maduro (or other maduro cigars).

Winter outside cigars for those of us in the desert would be Party Lusi's, Monte A's, and other DCs, makes up for the summer outdoor smokes of Cohiba clubs and minis.

After reading all the posts about wrapper splitting in the colder temps,......I suggest smoking a pipe.
There are plenty of pipe blends able to hold up against the temps and flavour requirements.

Trust me Gonz when I say they're like smoking rolled-up dog shit and paying money to do it...

Another vote for RASCC. Also, in no particular order, H Upmann CJ, Boli CJ, Punch TPC, ERDM Lunch Club
Where'd the cheddar go? I don't know!

Pipes are a good idea!

Also....I much prefer a cigar to a pipe any day of the week....but when it's so damn cold out.....if I have to pitch my tobacco....I don't lose that much with a pipe. A great alternative (even though I know the question was re cigars).
